Episode 6: Invincible Friendship

Now that Tohru will be living with Yuki and the others, she decides to finally tell Hana and Uo the truth. They are shocked, learning that Tohru was once living in a tent and now with three guys. They also wondered what the Fanclub girls would say if they knew that Tohru was living with their beloved Prince Yuki. Uo and Hana decides make a date to visit Shigure's house, so that they may see who Tohru is choosing to live with.
Shigure is happy, cleaning the house and singing, with is fantasies of high school girls! "I wonder what they'll be like." he smiles to himself. "A Yankee," answers Yuki, "And a psychic." This isn't too pleasing too Shigure. Shigure also mentions to Yuki and Kyo that they should be careful, for if these girls were to find out their curse, Akito would not take that kindly. The girls arrive and Hama says, "Dog. There's a dog." Shigure is frighten, but standing in the yard there is a dog, and the tensions of Shigure, Yuki, and Kyo has went down a bit.
Shigure tells the girls that he's a novelist, which is new info for Tohru. She's happy to learn one more new thing about the Sohmas. Shigure takes out a book, showing his work, but it's a smutty romance novel. Uo is disgusted, Yuki and Kyo is embarrassed. "Oh," waves Shigure, pulling out a real novel, "This is really my work. The other one I did for fun." To get out of this awkward situation, Shigure asks Uo and Hana how they first met Tohru. Hana is too creepy, asking in a eerie tone, if the boys really wanted to hear her story. They decide to hear Uo's story first, nervously. Tohru smiles and yells, "Hey, you jerk! You better not step on those papers!" Everyone is confused.
Tohru apologizes, explaining that's what Uo had said, when they first met in the hall and someone had bumped into Tohru. Uo smiles, now remembering, "Yeah, I was still in that gang, back then. I guess I was pretty rough." And Tohru goes on to explain how Uo use to wear her hair long, wear a mask, and long skirts. Hana points out that she still does that. Uo laughs, admitting that Hana is right. Shigure comments on how spunky Uo is. Yuki and Kyo are highly annoyed, calling Shigure a sick bastard. Then Shigure notices that Hana is reading his romance novel. He's delighted, asking her what did she think of it.
"You don't want to know what I think..." she replies. Shigure backs away, nervously. But then Hana asks when does the next issue come out, interested. Tohru thinks of something fun they can all do and rushes off to get something, leaving the guys and girls alone. That's when Shigure asks Hana about her story, on how her and Tohru met. Hana explains that in her old school, she caused some type of disturbance. There's a short flashback of screaming and horrified teens. The guys are freaked out. "Well," says Shigure, "What a nice story. Well, you kids have fun, I have some work to do." And Shigure runs off, leaving a very annoyed Yuki and Kyo behind. "He ran the hell away!" Kyo thinks.
Tohru comes back, with a deck of cards, suggesting they should play a card game. Everyone likes that idea, especially Kyo and Uo. They both start trash-talking each other, but Kyo has to use the toilet. While trying to get past the Uo, he falls into her and turn into a cat! She trips, Tohru is shocked, and Kyo the cat runs into the yard. As Uo falls to the floor, Hana then notices that something must have happened, while Tohru is worried. But Uo is confused, not knowing what happened, and Tohru quickly covers, explaining that Kyo just left and Uo must have tripped.

Then Yuki was turned into a rat, when he runs into Tohru by mistake! He runs from the house, before any of the girls see him, hiding with Kyo. "You damn rat." growls Kyo. "Stupid cat." frowns Yuki. Shigure comes back, to distract the girls, joining in with the game. That's when they hear a poof! Kyo had transformed back and was naked! In a rush to toss Kyo some clothes, even though they were Yuki's, both Shigure and Tohru grabbed and tried to toss. But Shigure is stronger, tossing Tohru into the air and she lands on him, turning him into a dog!
When Uo and Hana look up, Tohru is hugging a black dog. Shigure barks. "Um," says Tohru, trying to cover, "I'm happy to see you! It's our lost dog... Spot!" Shigure doesn't care for that name. Yuki transforms and slips into his clothes, walking into the room, as if nothing happened. He suggests to Tohru that maybe "Spot" was hungry. So Tohru and Shigure go into the kitchen. Once there, Tohru apologizes for all the trouble she's caused. But Shigure ensures her that if it makes her happy to be around her friends, then it makes Yuki, Kyo, and himself happy too.
Kyo walks into the room, but bumps into Uo again. And Yuki bumps into Tohru again too. All three animals hide in the kitchen, but without any clothes, which will be a problem when they change back. Kyo suggest that maybe Tohru's friends should see them as animals and the Sohmas could erase the girls memories later. But Shigure points out, if they did that, they'd have to erase Tohru's memory too. Annoyed, Kyo makes a mad dash for their rooms, to get clothes. While heading for the bathroom, Uo almost steps on a running cat with clothes tied around it's neck. Hana stops her in time, but Shigure the dog nabs the orange cat in his mouth, and they dive into the bushes outside. Hana explains to Uo what she saw and they look outside, towards the bushes.
Shigure is wiping his back, with a pair of jeans, pretending it's a towel. "Ah," he grins, "Nothing like a rub down with a nice towel, to get the blood pumping." A naked Kyo and Yuki hide in the bushes, annoyed with the stupidity of Shigure. Later that night, Hana and Uo decides to sleep over with Tohru. They stay in her room, that has a HUGE bed, given to her by Shigure. Uo suggests that maybe Tohru should ask for a vanity table too and other things for the room, since Shigure is so giving. But Tohru explains that she could never ask for more. She's so grateful for what she has, asking for more would be asking for trouble.
That's when her friends, Uo and Hana, realizes that Tohru's friendship is so special. She cares so much for others and hardly of herself. Uo and Hana calls it, "Invincible Love". Tohru falls asleep, next to her best friends, feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. The next morning, Yuki and Kyo began to fight in the kitchen. "A cat and a mouse." says Hana, startling them both. "Yeah," agrees Uo, "They're like that cartoon. Something-or-other and Jerry?" Uo and Hana are pleased that Tohru is staying with these guys and they found it acceptable. They care for Tohru a lot and warn the boys to treat her right.
