As they continued to watch the show, the power goes out.
Ed: "Aww!"
Jet: "A power failure?"
Spike: "Well... I guess the good thing is, we don't have to watch that cartoon anymore."
Ed: "But it was the best part!"
Ein: *Bark, bark!"
Jet: "I'm going to check on the breaker, be right back."
Spike: "I'll go too, in case you need a hand."
Ed: "Don't forget Ed! It's spooky in here!"
Ein: *whimpers*
Jet: "Hey, we all can't go at the same time!"
Ed: "Sure we can! Ed can help too!"
So... Ed, Ein, Spike, and Jet all head for the electical system. They make
it to the main room, Ed waving around their only flashlight.
Ed: "Spooky-spooky! Walking through the dark!"
*Crash*
Spike: "Oww!"
Jet: "You okay, Spike?"
Spike: "No! I stumbled into this damn crap! What is it doing in the middle of
the floor, anyway?!"
Jet: "I found it the main box. Edward! Stop playing with that flashlight and
point it over here."
Ed was holding the flashlight close to her face and saying: "Oooooooh!", scaring Ein, but stopped instantly when Jet told her to.
Ed: "Roger!"
Jet: "Here we go... let's see... hmm..."
Spike: "What is it, Jet?"
Jet: "Well, that's odd... the whole inside of the box is dark."
Spike: "It's that fried, huh?"
Jet: "No... it's like the whole box has nothing in it. A dark void."
Spike: "What?! That makes no sense. Let me see."
Ed: "Ed too! Let Ed help!"
They stare off into a black void, where wires and controls use to be. Then the void makes a sudden move.
Spike: "That's not a void!"
The dark mass springs from the box, narrowly missing Ed, Jet, and Spike!
Spike: "Ahh! What the hell was that?!"
Ed: "Pudding?"
Jet: "It's that blob... thing! But didn't you get rid of it a while ago?!"
Spike: "Yeah, I killed that sucker!"
Ein: *whimper! Bark! BARK!*
Ed: "Ein's right! Let's get out of here!"
They rush for the door, ducking from the goo as it jumped from one corner to another, trying to attack them. As soon as everyone made it from the room, the goo makes a last attempt to reach them, bouncing from the opposite wall! It hurdles towards them in top speed and Spike quickly slams the door shut. They hear a loud thud and squish, as it hits the door.
