It is evening and our heroes are headed to Scarletwood to retrieve the fourth shard. But, on their way there, they come across an overturned cart on the road. Items from the cart were tossed everywhere. "What's happened?" asks Galen, looking around for signs of survivors. Edeline is in quiet fury. "Looks like the work of Sonya." she says, coldly. "Ooh," says a unfamiliar voice, "Good guess. But not quite!" "Who's there?!" demanded Galen, as Edeline pulls her sword. An young man steps from the shadows, a self assured grin across his face.

Galen: "Who are you?!" (>_>)
Edeline: "It's Star, of Zev's Army." (-_-)
Adie: "Star?" (O_o)
Star: "Gee, Koian. I guess your kind can really keep a grudge. I didn't expect you to remember my name." (^_^)
Edeline: "..." (;u_u)
Galen: "SHUT UP!" W('O')W
Edeline: "What have you done to the people, who owns this cart?" (>_>)
Star: "They wouldn't give me the information I wanted, so... I killed them, of course!" (^_-)
Faeda: (o_o)
Adie: "Oh no!" (o_o)
Galen: "YOU BASTARD!!!" W('O')W

"Tsk, tsk." grins Star, waving a finger, "It's not nice to call names." "It's not nice to kill!" yells Adie. "Yes, it is." nods Star, as if this was a fun game, "It all depends on who's doing the killing and who's doing the dying!" "This guy is sick." frowns Vi. "You will pay for what you've done!" roars Galen, taking a step closer to Star. "So gallant." he nods, "I do believe your parents have named you well, Galen." "How-" gasps Galen, "How do you know my name?!" "I know all of your names." shrugs Star, "I know everything about you. Since that little incident in The Ever Hills, Lord Zev has been checking into each of your backgrounds."
Faeda gasps. "Yes," smiles Star, moving closer, "That's right, I know that you're the seer and have the Key in your possession. Now, be good little girl and hand over that item, please?" "No!" shrieks Faeda. Her friends surround her, protecting her, and is ready to fight. "A fight?" scoffs Star, "Don't be stupid. You have no chance against me!" "Bring it on!" growls Galen.

Star: "Boring! Die now!" (-_-)
Galen: "Grrr!" W('O')W
Edeline: "Hai!" W('O')W
Vi: "..." (-_-)
Adie: "...Beyond the reaches of the plains..." (-_-)
Star: *teleports behind Galen* "Fireblade!" (-_-)
Galen: "OOF!" (o_o)
Faeda: "Galen!" *healing* (o_o)
Adie: "...Hear my cry and let the enemy..." (-_-)
Vi: "..." (-_-)
Edeline: "You're going down!!!" W('O')W
Star: *teleports behind Edeline* "I don't think so... Fireblade!" (-_-)
Faeda: "Edeline!" *healing* (o_o)
Adie: "...Perish now! Lightning Strike!..." \(^o^)/

This time, Adie's lightning bolt hits the intended party! But... it bounces off Star, an invisible shield reflecting light. "What the-?" gasps Adie. "He has some type of shield!" yells Oar. Star laughs manically, teleporting. "We can't keep up with him!" shouts Galen, "He's bouncing all over the place!" Edeline growls in frustration. "Just give it up!" yells Star, "Hand over the Key and maybe I'll spare your lives!" "Not going to happen!" yells Edeline.
"Just don't stand there, Oar!" says Adie, hopping up and down, "Shoot your arrows!" "Oh, right..." frowns Oar, "I forgot, I'm helping now." He shoots many arrows towards Star, as the villain charges and teleports towards him, each arrow missing the target. Star is suddenly behind Oar and runs his sword right through our hero! "Ah!" whimpers Oar, then collapses to the ground.

Adie: "OAR!!!" (o_o)
Faeda: "Don't worry! I can heal him!" (o_o)
Galen: "Bastard!!!" W('O')W
Edeline: "You'll pay for that!!!" W('O')W
Star: "I highly doubt that... but feel free to try!" (^o^)
Adie: "Oar! Don't you dare die!" (o_o)
Oar: "Death is nothing to fear... it's a gift." (-_-)
Adie: "Yeah... survive, so I can explain to you how stupid you are!" (u_u)
Oar: "Hmm..." (-_-)
Vi: "..." (-_-)
Star: "Give it up! I'm the most powerful, good-looking, intelligent being you'll ever have the good fortune to come across! You have NO chance against me!" (^o^)

Vi sings a note! "Ha," smiles Star, "What was that suppose to do? A single note can not..." Star suddenly freezes, in mid-sentence, stiff as an board. "Wow." gasps Edeline. "Way to go, Vi!" cheers Adie. "No time to lose," she nods, "We must go. It won't hold for long!" Oar quickly shoots an arrow, turning Star into stone. "That should buy us more time." nods Oar, satisfied with his revenge.
"Oar!" smiles Adie, "You're okay!" "Not quite." he says, still in pain, "But... I'm still alive... for now." Edeline rushes over, looking at Oar's wound. "It's pretty bad." she says, worried, "We'll have to see an doctor for that." "I did the best I could." says Faeda, sadly. "You did more than enough, Faeda." says Adie, "Without you, Oar would have died!" Oar pouts at that realization.

Vi: "Okay... we'll all thank Faeda, later. We must hurry!" (>_>)
Galen: "Yeah. Oar can be on the back of my horse, I'll make sure he's safe." (-_-)
Edeline: "Um... the stone around Star is starting to crack!" (<_<)
Faeda: "Hurry! On my horse, Vi!" (o_o)
Edeline: "Adie, hurry!" (>_>)
Vi: "We'll have a twenty minute start, that should be enough distance between him and us." (-_-)
Adie: "Even though he teleports?" (o_O)
Oar: "I imagine so..." (-_-)
Galen: "Well... there's only one way to find out. YAW!" (<_<)

Our heroes head across the plains, in top speed, heading for Scarletwood.
