Edeline falls into the arms of Galen, wounded. "What-" gasps Galen, "Edeline!!!" Zev laughs, pleased with himself, as our heroes stand in the fields of the Realm Of Null. The Guardians at the Gate, snarl and jump, unable to leave their post and rip Zev into shreds. "Seer!" charged Zev, "You will give me the Key or I will kill off your friends, one by one!" Faeda is frozen with fear!
Vi quickly sings a note, but Zev waves it back, turning Vi into stone! "No!" shrieks Adie, quickly trying to undo the spell on her friend. "Bastard!" growls Oar, shooting an arrow. "Fool." waves Zev, sending it back to Oar, turning him into stone as well. "Ah, dammit!" yells Adie, trying to undo the spells for both of her friends. "Hand her here." says Captain Pete, grabbing a hold of Edeline, "Galen, you have to fight Zev! I'm all out of rocks and snowballs!"

Galen: "E...Edeline..." (o_o)
Captain Pete: "Go on, then! I'll look after her! Faeda! Snap out of it, we need your help!" (>_<)
Faeda: "Y-yeah..." (o_o)
Edeline: "I'm okay, Galen. Take Zev down... take him down hard!" (;^_^)
Galen: "You don't even have to ask! Zev, this is your end!!!" (>_>)
Zev: "Oh, please. Your cliche remarks mean nothing..." (;-_-)
Galen: "GAH!!!" W('O')W
Faeda: "Edeline..." (o_o)
Edeline: "Don't worry. I'm okay. It's just a small wound." (;^_^)
Captain Pete: "Not so... you're losing a lot of blood, love." (o_O)
Faeda: "Captain Pete!" (>_<)
Edeline: "You're not suppose to say that!" (o_o)
Captain Pete: "Oh. So sorry, then." (;^_^)

Galen breaks through Zev's force again, kicking the enemy several feet away! "H-how?" frowns Zev, pulling himself to his feet, "How are you doing that?!" "You're the fool!" growls Galen, rushing towards him, "I'm part of your blood, remember?!" Zev kicks Galen several feet back. "Yes," nods Zev, "Even so, you still have the blood of inferior beings! Yet, you're almost an equal to my strength... almost." Zev grabs Galen by the hair and tosses him like a rag-doll.
As Faeda begins to heal Edeline, Adie undo the stone spell over Vi. "Whew," she sighs, "One down, one more to go! Hang on Oar, I'll save you!" Vi collapses to the sandy ground and Captain Pete rushes to her side. "Are you okay, love?" he asks, concerned. "Yeah." she nods, "Just a little winded. But I'll be fine." Galen hits the ground hard, an cackling Zev looming over him. "Did you really believe I'd let you win?" Zev sneers, "Where you so foolish to think you could just stroll up to the Gate and I wouldn't do a thing? You, Galen, of all people should know that giving up isn't in our blood!"
"Hmm," says Galen, "You remind me of Star... long grandiose speeches. And also... way too much of an arrogant bastard." Galen swept his feet under Zev, knocking Zev to the ground, and quickly flipped to his feet. "And that was his downfall." says Galen, landing kicks and punches on top of Zev, "He was just too arrogant and underestimated the inferior beings." Zev just barely rolls away from Galen's attacks, scrambling to reach his staff.

Adie: "Whoo-hoo! I did it! Oar, are you okay?" (^o^)
Oar: "I've been better..." (-_-)
Adie: (o_O)
Oar: "But, yes... I'm alive." (-_-)
Adie: (^_^)
Oar: "How's Edeline?" (o_o)
Edeline: "Lots better!" (;^_^)
Faeda: "She still has a wound, but it's not life-threatening." (-_-)
Edeline: "Don't worry, Faeda. You did good." (^_-)
Vi: "What about Galen?" (>_>)
Captain Pete: "No, love. This is his fight. He must face that part of him, alone." (-_-)
Oar: "Captain Pete is right... This is Galen's fight." (-_-)
Edeline: "But... we're stepping in, if it looks like Galen is losing. Right?" (O_o)
Captain Pete: "Of course!" (^o^)

Zev grabs a hold of his staff and began to summon the deepest of the darkness. "Okay," he growls, "The kid-gloves comes off!" "Finally!" yells Galen, "Took you long enough! Now I can kill you, without guilt. Don't hold back... because I won't!" Zev sends a swirling mass of dark creatures towards our hero. Within this cloud, there are hundreds of sharp claws and glowing red eyes, gnashing teeth of hungry dark souls. The cloud covers over Galen, his uniform is being ripped, a streak of blood across his right cheek. "Galen!" shrieks Edeline, stepping forward. Captain Pete grabs her back. "On moment, love." he nods, "...Wait for it..."
Galen punches through the cloud, moving so quickly, he grabs Zev's neck and squeezes. "That's a cheap trick." Galen growls, now on the edges of the darkness within himself, "Using arts against someone who can't. Why don't you fight, man-to-man?" "That's a weak philosophy." gasps Zev, loving the darkness in Galen, "To fight only on equal ground. Like there's some honor or glory to it. If you have the upperhand, then use it! For if your opponent has it, he will use it, without worrying about equal ground." "Yours is a pretty messed up philosophy!" yells Galen.
"Not so." says Zev, with pity in his eyes, "I fear the inferiors have made you weak. Come back to us, under my rule, I shall make you whole again!" "No thanks!" growls Galen, choking off Zev's air supply, "If your theory was correct, you should have won. But..." Galen slams Zev into the ground, grabbing a hold of Zev's staff, and plunging it through the enemy! "Even though I can't match your Arcane arts," huffs Galen, "I've still won!" Zev gasp, focusing on Galen for a second, then slowly the light leaves his wide-open eyes.

Edeline: "Galen...?" (>_>)
Galen: "I'm okay. Are you okay, Edeline?" (-_-)
Edeline: "Yeah..." (-_-)
Galen: "Vi? Oar?" (-_-)
Vi: "We're okay." (;^_^)
Oar: "Thanks to the powerful Mage." (^_-)

Edeline: "It's over, isn't it?" (-_-)
Galen: (o_O)
Edeline: "Zev and his rule. It's over... at last." (^_^)
Galen: "Yeah." (^_^)
Vi: "Serenity is now free!" (^o^)
Captain Pete: "Not quite. Faeda has one last thing to do!" (;^_^)
Faeda: "Yes, that's right!" (;^_^)
Edeline: "Come on, Faeda! Let's get you to that Gate!" (^o^)

Filled with hope and joy, our heroes giggle all the way to the Gate. The Guardians, two huge cat-like monsters, bowed in honor of Faeda and her friends and let them pass through the Gate. With on step, behind the Gate, our heroes were stepping on cloud. Surrounded by walls made of sky, pictures blinked within the blue, of random people living their lives in Serenity. "Woah." gasps Adie, looking around, "I've never seen magic like this." "Impressive." nods Oar. Galen grabs onto Edeline, afraid he might fall through the fluffy cloud floor. "Big baby." frowns Edeline. Galen smiles, nervously.
In the middle of this huge sky-like room, there was an huge three-point crystal, bigger than our group together. All types of colors swirled through it, but the colors of white and black seemed to take over the most. "It's not balanced." explains Faeda, "I'll have to merge into it and fix the problem." "Merge?" asks Oar, highly interested, "How?" "I just have to touch the Golden Soul," she says, pointing to the crystal, "With the Key. And then I will be pulled into it. Once inside, I can fix it. But... you guys can't come along with me."

Adie: "What?!!" (o_O)
Vi: "Only the seer may step inside." (-_-)
Faeda: "Yes. You guys have to wait here. Don't worry, I'll be right back." (^_^)
Adie: "But... But... What if something goes wrong in there? How will be save you?" (O_o)
Edeline: "Yeah!" (o_o)
Faeda: "Don't worry, I'll be fine. Nothing will go wrong! I promise." (^_-)
Galen: "Well... is this... goodbye, then?" (-_-)
Oar: (-_-)
Adie: (>_>)
Captain Pete: (O_o)
Faeda: "No! Not yet!" (^_-)
Vi: "But soon..." (-_-)
Edeline: (-_-)
Faeda: "Keep smiling!" (^_-)

A screen opens up on the sky-wall, a scene of Faeda in echo, "Keep smiling!" Captain Pete jumps several feet. "Bloody hell!" he shouts, "That's freaky, that is!" Vi and Adie giggle. "Big babies." frowns Edeline. Pete and Galen blushes. "Well," sighs Vi, placing her hands on Faeda's shoulders, "Remember now, you can do this. We're here for you, one hundred percent!" "I know." smiles Faeda, "I'm not worried, anymore. I mean, I once was, when I started this journey... But now, I know for sure that I can't lose. Not with friends, like you all."
"How touching!" hissed Zev, teleporting behind Faeda. "No!" screams Adie and Edeline. Zev throws Vi into Galen and Oar, grabbing Faeda by her neck, once more. Zev's robe is stained with blood, half of it crimson, his skin pale. "I am dying." he says to Faeda, "But I rather spend my last breaths bringing Serenity into darkness!" Edeline and Captain Pete began to charge, but fearing for her friends, Faeda does the only thing she could. She hugs Zev and pulls him into the Golden Soul with her!

Captain Pete: "Oh, bugger!" (o_o)
Edeline: "NO!!!" (o_o)
Galen: "Oh, no! He's got Faeda!" (o_o)
Vi: "Wait, Galen! You can't go in!!!" (o_o)
Galen: "Zev has Faeda! No time for traditions!" W('O')W
Vi: "It's not tradition! If you go inside, you will be killed, instantly!" (o_o)
Adie: (o_o)
Galen: "Ah, dammit!" W('O')W
Vi: "The Soul will not recognize you and it will implode you." (-_-)
Captain Pete: "Bloody hell!" (o_o)
Oar: "Vi, what do we do?! Faeda's alone with that monster!" (-_-)
Vi: "It's out of our hands. We've done all that we could do." (>_>)
Galen: "Faeda..." (>_<)
Edeline: "W-well... won't Zev implode? He's not an seer!" (o_O)
Vi: "Yes, but he is of pure darkness. The Soul will recognize that. Besides an seer, a person of pure light or pure darkness may enter." (u_u)
Oar: "And because we're neither pure in light or darkness..." (-_-)
Adie: "This sucks!" (u_u)

"No," says Galen, "Faeda is strong. She can handle this... she has to." But even Galen has doubts. Our heroes stare towards the Golden Soul and wait...
