Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky 4th (or just plain "Ed") is a genius hacker who can hack
into just about any computer in the universe. Despite her name, Ed is indeed a 13 year old
girl. She was abandon by her father, left at day-care, when she was smaller. Since then,
Ed named herself and had to live on her own. That is, until the Bebop crew ran into her...
^o^ Edward's Entrance ^o^
In "Session 9: Jamming With Edward", the ship (Bebop) arrives on Earth to investigate the source
of a bunch of animal shapes laser burned into the desert ground from somewhere in space. Bebop's
crew (Faye, Jet, Spike), find Ed living alone in an abandoned heap on earth with a huge pile of
home-made fun computer devices, including her created laptop, Tomato.
Yes... the laptop is named Tomato. ;^_^

No computer is safe from Edward's hacking! She makes her presence known by this goofy smiley face
appearing on computer screens. Like this one:
The smiley is pretty much Ed's trademark. Hmm, did you noticed that the smile on Ed and the one
on the smiley is the same? o_O

Anyways, Edward agrees to help Spike and crew find their bounty (the old USA satellite system
that is creating the laser engraved earth images), if they let her tag along in their crew.
They agree and Ed leads them to the satellite. In the end, the crew hands over the real culprit
to authorities (a copy of the AI that made the images) but they get no award. Bounty hunting laws
specify that bounty heads must have physical bodies. Bummer! Well, the crew tries to ditch Ed,
despite the fact of their agreement. But Edward, forces the crew's ship to turn around and pick her
up, via a remote she created! Hee, hee... too clever! ^o^

In Japan, Aoi Tada does the voice of Edward. Aoi Tada has been a performer since age of three
and her resume includes everything from stage plays to commercials. Her past appearances have
included the title role in the musical Annie, Kurt in The Sound of Music, and
Cynthia in The Goodbye Girl.

In USA, Melissa Fahn (sometimes under the alias Melissa Charles) does the voice of Edward. She does a variety of voices,
including Soujirou Seta from Rurouni Kenshin, KiKi Rosta from Gundam 08 Ms Team, and
Rika Nanaka from Digimon to name a few. ^_^
