Why Cowboy Bebop?
I'm what you'd call an "Otaku", big time! I love anime and my first anime
was "Sailor Moon" at age 12. I watched it every morning, before school, wishing
I could be a magical, morphing, evil-bashing, princess. I also named one of my cats
Luna. I know, I know... big dork. Hey, that's what Otaku means, doesn't it? ;^_^

I started my webmistress career at age 15, when I discovered AOL's web-maker
(don't remember the exact name for it) and thought I had found gold. It was a
basic program that made a small website, when you filled in the text fields
with the info you wanted to have on your site. It was pretty much primitive,
but I was convinced that I was a real web expert using it. ;-_-
It wasn't until I was 16, when I found out about html. I began learning it,
using tutorials like, Web Diner,
Dynamic HTML Resource, and
Page Resource.
Then I upgraded to free web-servers like Geocities and Angelfire (yuck, yuck, yuck >_<).
The problem with using these services is that the URL is soooo long and it
often crashes if too many people are using it... and they mostly are. It wasn't
until years later that I discovered frames, I-Frames, and Java. I'm still pushing
the envelope, learning to do more and more things with the web. Being a good
webmistress (or webmaster, for the guys :p) is a forever learning task.
But the character Sailor Moon, wasn't my favorite. I wanted to be just like Sailor
Mars. But I grew up and got into real anime, like Trigun, Inuyasha, Blue Gender,
and Cowboy Bebop. You don't have to guess which one is my most favorite. I had just
started watching Cowboy Bebop, last year, and fell in love with the first episode.
Every night, my sister and I rushed to the t.v. to watch CB on Adult Swim, an
cartoon program for the adults on Cartoon Network. I nearly screamed, after the first
episode (Asteroid Blues), "Why haven't I watched this anime sooner! Wah-ha, ha, ha, ha!"...
but I didn't. ;^_^
When Ed first came along, she got on my nerves... then after a few episodes, I knew why.
I acted much like her, when I was a just a kid. Pleh! And even then, when I was a kid,
I annoyed myself. But, I began to really like her. Any episode without her (even a peak of her)
made the episode seems less... fun. It was then I decided to create a site just for Ed. ^_^
I'm drawing, painting, writing anime. Hey, I said I was a big dork. But, I refuse to draw
or paint copyrighted anime, like my friend Edward. Not because it's copyrighted, no.
Because I like being original! My sister and I both draw our own characters with their own
stories and plotlines. One day, we plan to move to Japan and create our own Manga or
cartoon series. So, look for something really cool in far future. ^_^
