James is often never afraid.... He never flinches at the tiniest, disturbing thing. He would often taunt his friends that he was NEVER afraid. He was a good artist and a big fan of anime. He especially loved Cowboy Bebop.... Ed was his favorite character! He dreamed about meeting her one day......

Until one night;

James had just gotten back from a group get together at the mall at about midnigh... it was cold and windy. He could hear the wind blow against his face-

"WoooooooOOOOOOOSH! WoooooooOOOOOSH!"

But James wasn't afraid. He told his friends so when he was about to leave-

He said in a triumphant voice- "HA HA HA!!! I am not afraid! I believe I can walk home tonight without even getting nervous! You watch me! I shall be perfectly fine tomorrow! HA HA HAAAA!"

Now back to the present... James was walking steadily through the dark streets of town. Shivering at the cold night air... He was just about any other normal kid. 14, 6"1', with sky blue eyes and soft, brown, unkempt hair, he was wearing a blue shirt with pants and a jacket... but back with the story...Just then, he sees an alleyway.... And standing outside an alleyway was a small person in a black coat, with a hood. But the person's head was hung low so you could not see who it was.... The person spoke wearily and very hauntingly.

"Do not go into this alleyway..... for it will bring you certain doom..... if you don't want to face certain doom.... turn, back, NOW!"

Funny, the person sounded too young and silly to be scary. James laughed, "HA! You think I am afraid? Well watch me go into this alleyway and come out of it, unharmed!"

James puffed up his chest and stomped inside; the cloaked person started to follow James and began to warn him.

"No! What are you thinking!? You don't want to bring yourself to certain DEATH! Would you? Please go and turn back now!"

James smirked.
"I do not need to listen to you.... Just watch. I will come out a-ok!"

The cloaked man can be seen frowning, then trudging wearily into the shadows.
"So be it.... from then on out..... you are on your own! MUA- HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!"

James snorted. "Humph, that old bloke does not scare me! Not at least, one bit!"

*CLATTER!* James jumped, he turned around to see that it was just a cat jumping off of a trash can lid, knocking it over.

"Ha.....HA HA HA HA HA! It was just a cat...there is no use getting scared over that!"

*Shiff...Shiff...*snarrrrrrl**

The sound this time made both James AND the Cat jump! The Cat quickly scurried up James, into his shirt, and poked its little head out from the collar of James's shirt.

"O... Ok... W-W-What was that?"

Cat shrugged "Myah." She replied.

"Well... there is no use getting scared.... maybe a bit... about that noise."

*BAM!* they both jump.

"Or that!" James piped out.

"Myah, Myah!" Cat said, shivering and having a very scared look on her face.

James patted Cat's head.

"It's ok.... we will make it through together!" James smiles "You'll see!"

So James took the Cat and walked onward into the alleyway. It was getting darker and darker... James walked until he felt someone run past him. He spun around and looked.... no one was there...

"MYAH, MYAH, MYAH!" Cat screeched. Wriggling around in James shirt;

"EEP! Okay... maybe I am a bit scared..." James quietly said. "Maybe we should go back now... But... But I will not quit! I'm going into the alleyway more till' I reach the end!"

Then, there was something moving-

*rustle...rustle*

Until further inspection... James saw a figure walk into the path of the alleyway, blocking the exit... the shadow gave off a WIDE and toothy smile... Which can be seen through the darkness... ....it was almost evil.

James started to shake...

Uh Oh;

"MyaaaaaaaaAAAAAAH!" Cat screamed.

"Good idea!" James started running away from the figure, running deeper into the alleyway.... James can feel he was being followed, his head took a look back to see the shadow running after him.

"OH MY GOD!" James shouted and ran faster; Cat clenched onto James's shirt and shut her eyes. James spotted a dumpster to hide behind. So he did, he hid behind that dumpster, put his back against it and shut his eyes tight..... He could hear the shadows footsteps....

*Tap...Tap...Tap, Tap!....Tap....Tap....Tap....gone*

"Whew...." James said, wiping his forehead. "That was a close one, eh, Cat?"

"Myah." She said.

"Right... let's move on! I think I see the end!"

With that,James sprinted as fast as he could down the rest of the alleyway. As fast as he could... He reached the end...it was nothing but a wall with a old wooden chair and some garbage. James sighed and wiped his forehead again, then smiled.

"Whew! Finally! After all that, we finally reached the end." James expression changed do a blank one and sweatdropped. "And all I got was an old wooden chair and garbage.... Good grief! So, Cat? How bout' we go home and I feed ya some milk, eh?"

"Myah!" Cat's eyes sparkled at that remark, and she licked James chin vigorously.

"Ok, ok! Enough already!" James said. "Do anymore of that, you'll become a dog." And then put Cat back in his shirt.

Just as James was about to head on out.... he heard a noise and saw something....

-He stopped short when he saw who it was.....

It was the cloaked person! James could not believe his eyes! There was a silence between then until James stammered out-

"Y-Y-Y-You were the one stalking me!?"

Cloaked Person gave out that same, WIDE smile at him and said hauntingly "Yessssssss.... MUA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Cat! Run!" James yelled out. And then, Cat immediately scampered out of James shirt and ran behind the wooden chair, and hid, but watched in horror what was about to be done to James.

James gulped and stammered "I-I-I-I'm not afraid of you!"

"So you say!" Cloaked Person said "But you ARE actually afraid! I can feel it in your VAINS... You did not listen to my warnings... so now you will pay the ultimate price... and PUNISHMENT!"

James was shaking... he stammered out "P-P-P-Punishment?"

Cloaked person smiled again "It's time to reveal my TRUE identity! I hope your ready, Jimmy-boy....."

The Cloaked Person took off it's black cloak and threw it aside to reveal herself to be!-

"E-E-E-E-Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Travurski the 4th!!!!! In the flesh! WOW!"

Ed smirked "And now it's time Ed gives James PUNISHMENT!" She gave out a snarl as she lunged towards James.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" James screamed.

Oh the horror!

Oh the humanity!

Oh the slobbering!

Oh the...... Kissing?

That's right.... Ed lunged at James and put her arms around James's neck... and her legs around his waist. And gave him a BIG.....WET......and FULL kiss on the lips!

"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm-muahhhhh!"

Edward hopped off a stunned James. She smiles at James as drool dribbles out of her mouth. James. With spit and drool dribbling out of his mouth as well.... sways and has a stunned expression on his face for a few moments, then shakes himself out of it. Then asks-

"What was THAT!?" James exclaims...

Ed smiled "You didn't listen to Ed's warnings! So now you have been Ed-Kissed! And no matter how hard or how much you scrub, it will never-ever come off! Hee hee!"

James wiped the saliva off of his mouth.... Then says...

"But really.....why did you do it?"

Ed looked at James "Weeeeelllll.... You were being rude and obnoxious by telling everyone that you were something that you are not.... and that is not the way to go! Ed says you could get really hurt! It's ok to be brave sometimes.... but not all the time. And it's also okay to be a little afraid sometimes! Ed is sometimes afraid when Ed tries to steal cookie from Jet's cookie jar! So I staged everything so that Ed can fool Jimmy-boy into coming into the alleyway and frighten him! Then give him a BIIIIIIIIIIG Ed-kiss! Just because you're Ed's fan and friend!" Edward smiles.

"You....you know I'm your fan!?" James eyes widened a bit and smiled.

"Yup!" Ed chirped.

"W-Woah! Cool!" James said, then looked down at the ground.

"Well.....I guess your right....I should not think that I am someone that I am not... It would get me in a lot of trouble, if I continued on....from now on, I will just be.... Myself! And not anyone else!"

Meanwhile, Cat came out of hiding and stood beside Ed. Ed and Cat both jumped and smiled

"YAY!" Edward yelled.

"MEOW!" Cat yelled.

James touched his lips... then looked at Ed. "And to tell you the truth; that kiss wasn't half-bad....It was my first kiss too!"

Ed giggled. Then James picked up Cat and blushed, then asked- "W-W-Wanna come over to my house? Play and maybe have snacks or something?"

Ed smiled "Sure! Ed will love to!"

So on they went....James, Ed and Cat walked happily off out of the alleyway, home. And James, vowing to never brag about being someone he's not....ever again.
