Ein is a data dog, created in a lab for classified reasons. What is a data dog? Well, that's classified too. ;u_u
Ein first made his appearance on Cowboy Bebop, Session #2, way before Ed. So you would think this pooch's loyalty would
lie with Spike (the man that saved him) or the other crew members. But Spike hate three things most... "Animals, children,
and women with attitude." So even though he saved Ein, Spike doesn't like the dog. Faye never liked Ein, there are many theories
as to why... but when it all boils down to it, I think Faye is just Faye. ;^_^
Owning Ein...
Ed got lonely for Ein, no cow-woof woof... So, Ed ordered her very own Ein [mono insert] From
AnimeNation.com [/end plug] for
a nice price. The site said it was a plushie, so Ed was expecting something small. But when Ed opened the box, Ein was MUCH bigger than
anyone could hope for. Almost life-size! ^o^

Ein is protesting the making of this very section! He's a very modest dog and he says a section about him is too much. ^_^

Ein just collapsed on the desk... Hmm, I guess he was out drinking with Spike again. ^o^

But you can quickly guess that this dog is not the average one, when it comes to smarts. So far, we know that Ein can answer
phones, can beat Spike in Shogi (Japanese Chess), hack into computer systems, drive (well, for a while...). He even has
cop-like hunches (ex: Vincent from The Movie) on who's the bad-guy, when everyone else is at an lost.
So.... that leaves Jet and Ed! Jet loves the dog and it seems like an ex-cop and a pooch would get along better. BUT,
Ein loves Ed! Loves, Loves, Ed! *ahem!* (Must... stay... professional... and non-bias... when writing this) *straighting goggles*
Anyways...
There is a deeper bound between Ed and Ein. Even though it's apparent that Ed has never taken care of a pet before. But I think Ed and Ein
blend well, because all animals and children basically do. And it doesn't hurt, that Ed's a bit like a wild animal herself. Heh, heh,
heh! Did I say a bit? (¬_¬) Ah-ha, hah, hah, hah! *ahem!* ;^_^
